Generalities

The Swiss Blades is an international event of Historical European Martial Arts organized by the Association Médiévale Romande and its HEMA section. It takes place in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland.

Registration – 2025 edition

Registration is done online using the form. Registrations open Saturday, February 22 and close on Monday, June 30. Any application for registration after this date is subject to the appreciation of the organization and may not include all the elements mentioned in the packages. The number of participants is limited to 120.

Cancellation – 2025 edition

Registration is final once payment has been made. Nevertheless, for the sake of the people who process the registrations and prepare the logistics of the event, we thank you for informing us of any cancellation, even if you have not yet made the payment. Unless specifically agreed with the organization, payment must be made by June 30, 2025 at the latest. If the payment is made after this date without prior agreement with the organization, the registration is validated if there are still places, but may not include all the elements mentioned in the packages.

For any cancellation up to June 30, 2025, the full amount of the registration will be refunded, subject to processing fees.

For any cancellation between July 1st and August 10, the registration fee will be refunded, subject to a processing fee, and deducting a fee corresponding to the expenses incurred. As far as possible, the organization sends to those who have had to cancel within this period the Welcome Pack and any supplements ordered at registration.

For any cancellation from August 11th, no refund will be made. As far as possible, the organization sends to those who have had to cancel within this period the Welcome Pack and any supplements ordered at registration.

Accomodation

Meals and overnight stays are included in the registration according to the terms of each package. The organization takes into account, as far as possible, dietary restrictions expressed during registration. The different upgrades offered for overnight stays are available in limited quantities and can be canceled by the organization. The persons concerned will be notified in due course and reimbursed if necessary.

Security

Each participant takes part in the event under their own responsibility.

Participation in the tournament and workshops is not subject to any restriction, but it is the duty of everyone to ensure that they have the proper equipment and the recommended level for their own safety and that of others.

Any behavior deemed dangerous can be sanctioned by the organization. Tournament instructors and referees are free to exclude those at fault from the workshop or tournament. In case of definitive return of the event, there will be no refund.

A doctor will be present on the spot if necessary.
